The look of new, the strength of old
Since the early 1990s, our company has specialised in converting industrial horticultural greenhouses into smaller hobby greenhouses. Because we use reusable profiles and glass panels as a base, we call these “used greenhouses”. Contrary to what that might suggest, we also work intelligently with new materials. This allows us to combine the look of new with the strength of old. Large industrial greenhouses are dismantled for us, after which we only reuse the profiles that meet our quality standards. For the rest, we use new profiles that are specially manufactured for us. This combination is what we turn into our used greenhouses.
What is reused and what is new?
Reused
- Substructure: the entire frame for strength. Fully made of galvanised steel (not lighter aluminium).
- Roof: glazing bars, ridge and matching roof vents. Roof vents are adapted for manual or automatic opening.
- Glass panels: 4 mm horticultural glass (new glass and safety glass available as an option).
New
- Concrete foundation with concrete posts and panels.
- Aluminium side, front and rear façades.
- Cover rubbers for side, front and rear façades.
- Door.
- Fastening materials.
- New float glass and safety glass available as an option.
Advantages and disadvantages compared with a new greenhouse
Advantages
- Best price/quality ratio.
- Usually in stock, fast delivery and almost immediately available for collection.
Disadvantages
- Not available with coloured profiles.
- More difficult to install yourself.
- If you install it yourself with used or new standard horticultural glass, you need to cut the glass yourself. With toughened safety glass, the glass is supplied to size.

Straight side walls
Our greenhouses are available in various standard dimensions.

Our greenhouses are available as kits. However, we recommend having a greenhouse installed by us. For example, if you choose used glass, you will need to cut it yourself. If you choose toughened safety glass, the glass is supplied to size.
Sloping side walls
These greenhouses with sloping side walls are available in a width of 3.85 m.

Note: technically, it is not possible to provide a door in the side wall for this model.
Lean-to greenhouses
By lean-to greenhouses we mean 2 different models:
- Standard greenhouse placed against a wall with a gutter.
This is the simplest and therefore also the cheapest solution. The side wall on the wall side is omitted, which results in a discount. All our used greenhouses with straight side walls can be placed against a wall (please mention this in advance).
Because this must be checked technically on a case-by-case basis, you cannot calculate a price for this directly via the shop. It is best to contact us; based on a few photos, we assess the situation on site and the feasibility.
